🌱 HOW TO GROW BLUEBERRY SEEDLINGS
1️⃣ Optimal planting time: You can plant blueberries at any time of year — but doing it now ensures the best survival and fastest root development.
2️⃣ Soil preparation: Our seedlings are pre-treated with special fertilizers and insecticides, so no additional treatment is required.
Blueberries prefer slightly acidic, organic-rich soil.
Avoid adding extra substances — it can harm the plant. Just use the existing soil composition.

3️⃣ Planting rules:
- Dig holes about 30–40 cm deep and 70 cm wide. The soil should be moist but not waterlogged.
- Water regularly, especially during hot days. Loosen and mulch the soil annually to retain moisture and protect roots from overheating.
- Mulch the soil around the plants every year. This helps retain moisture, improve soil quality, and protect the roots from overheating and drying out.
- From planting until the plant reaches 4 years of age, only sanitary pruning is recommended — removing diseased, weak, damaged, or frostbitten shoots.
Rejuvenation pruning should be done five years after planting by reducing or completely cutting off old stems.
The best time for pruning blueberries is late winter to early spring.
4️⃣ Delivery and transportation:
During transport, blueberry seedlings are shipped without leaves, since they will naturally fall off after planting. Leaves are removed before shipment to prevent nutrient loss from the roots and stems. This process does not affect the plant’s health — you receive a fully viable seedling.
To check the seedling’s viability, gently scratch the bark. Under the dark outer layer you should see white, moist wood, which indicates the plant is in good condition.

Our blueberry seedlings are small, which helps ensure better survival rates. Young plants root and adapt more easily than mature ones. Seedlings may vary slightly in size, which is completely normal and does not affect their variety or viability.

AVAILABLE BLUEBERRY VARIETIES
"Bluecrop"
Bluecrop blueberry is the best industrial variety of mid-late ripening (second to third decade of July) with very high drought resistance. It is considered the standard for blueberry cultivation and is one of the main industrial varieties in Europe. The bush is tall, requires periodic pruning, reaching a height of 1.7–2.0 m, with upright shoots. The berries are large, up to 18 mm in diameter, slightly flattened, and collected in small clusters. The color of the berries is blue, with a pronounced light blue bloom, firm skin, and high transportability. The pulp is sweet and pleasant in taste, with a slight acidity. Yield is 6–10 kg per bush. This blueberry variety is drought-resistant (withstands up to +35°C) and not susceptible to major diseases. 🌿
"Jersey"
This is an old, tried-and-tested variety of tall blueberry favored by thousands of gardeners. If you expect a berry bush that is low-maintenance and provides stable yields even in unfavorable years, Jersey will definitely please you. This variety adapts well to different soil types, tolerates frost and heat, and is resistant to diseases and viruses, including the red ring spot virus. Jersey berries are small, light blue, and round. Thanks to their delicate sweet taste, they are perfect for processing: homemade pastries, jams, and compotes. In addition, the yield of Jersey blueberries stores well and is suitable for freezing. Bush height is 1.5–2 meters. Berry ripening occurs in mid-August. The bush is upright, 1.6–2.0 m tall. The fruits are medium-sized (16 mm in diameter), medium-blue, firm, resistant to crushing, with a medium scar, and of good quality. The berries are tasty and aromatic. For more abundant fruiting, it is recommended to plant another blueberry variety nearby for cross-pollination. 🍇
"Denise Blue"
Denise Blue is one of the newer varieties originating from Australia. A major advantage of this Canadian blueberry is that it is self-pollinating, so only one plant is needed. Yield of an adult bush is 7–8 kg. The berries are very aromatic and do not crack when harvested. This variety is highly disease-resistant. Although bred for the climate of Southern Australia, it also performs well in cooler and moderate climates. The plant can be grown in a larger pot on balconies or terraces. 🌱
"Northblue"
A good, high-yielding early-ripening blueberry variety. It was developed through a breeding program organized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1973. Northblue became popular among gardeners due to its low-growing bushes, reaching 1 meter in height, dense. However, bush size does not affect its productivity. Northblue yield is comparable to taller varieties. The berries have excellent taste qualities. They can be frozen, processed, and of course, eaten fresh. The berries are fairly large, with a small scar, dark blue color, and firm flesh. Taste is sweet and rich. The plant is drought and frost-resistant, has high immunity, and is suitable for cultivation in extremely hot climates. 🌞
"Goldblue"
The bush can reach a height of 1.2–1.5 meters. Goldblue blueberry blooms with charming small bell-shaped flowers of white-pink color, grouped in clusters of 8–10 flowers each. Among the positive traits of Goldblue are heat resistance. Its root system and shoots withstand heat up to +30–35°C. Typically, the abundant formation of new buds allows the plant to recover quickly. Another advantage is that Goldblue flowers can tolerate short-term temperature drops down to -7°C. ❄️
"Bonus"
Bonus blueberry is one of the largest-fruited varieties among all existing selections. It is the most in-demand mid-season variety. The bush is strong, with robust upright shoots, growing up to 1.5–1.7 m in height and spreading about 1.2 m in diameter. Very productive, this promising selection was bred in the USA by the University of Michigan. It is cultivated as a main industrial variety on many plantations in America and Europe. Yield per bush is up to 8 kg. The berries are incredibly large for blueberries, reaching 25–30 mm in diameter, slightly flattened, with excellent dessert taste, firm, light blue in color, with a small scar and waxy bloom. It has relatively late flowering periods and high disease resistance. 🍇
"Patriot"
Patriot blueberry is one of the most sought-after, large-fruited industrial varieties of mid-early ripening. The bush is tall, with numerous strong shoots, growing up to 140–180 cm in height. The berries are very large, up to 18 mm in diameter, slightly flattened, with firm blue skin and a light waxy bloom, aromatic, with high taste qualities. Leaves are dark green, thin, elongated. Yield is very high, 4.5–8 kg per bush. The plant requires pruning. It has high disease resistance and very high drought tolerance, up to +34–40°C. 🌿
In addition, we treat the cut areas with a plant antiseptic, which promotes healing and protects against bacteria, viruses, moisture, and cold.
Next, the seedlings are immersed in a special solution containing pest control agents and microelements to stimulate growth. The plant remains in this solution for 12–16 hours. Therefore, we DO NOT RECOMMEND adding any extra substances, as everything the plant needs is already included.

Unlike many nurseries that send seedlings without protective packaging, we carefully pack them in sturdy triple-layer cardboard boxes to prevent any damage during transport. 📦
How do we select our seedlings? We start by choosing only the healthiest and strongest seedlings with a well-developed root system and sturdy stems. Extra leaves are removed to ensure better recovery after transportation. Then, we trim the tops of the stems to improve survival rates and stimulate rapid initial growth.
PACKAGING & DELIVERY OF BLUEBERRY SEEDLINGS
Afterward, the roots are packed in specially prepared humus enriched with fertilizers, hydroperlite, and minerals. We RECOMMEND not discarding the humus from the packaging, but instead spreading it at the bottom of the planting hole. The substances contained in it will act as a natural fertilizer.
Finally, the seedlings are tightly wrapped in thermo-vacuum film, labeled with the variety name and brief description, and wrapped in packing paper before shipping. 📬
HAPPY GROWING!
